Caroline Nehls is an educationalist working with Endeva on a mission to promote inclusive business models in the education sector. She is passionate about business and technology innovations, and strongly believes in their potential to make quality education more accessible and affordable for disadvantaged groups.

As a consultant, she has worked with GIZ in Algeria and Bolivia, as well as smaller NGOs to develop financially sustainable business models for education projects. Combining her passion for education and organizational development, she founded the student-led NGO Weitblick Freiburg which promotes educational opportunities through local and international projects.

Caroline currently works as research associate at the University of Cologne, where she conducts her PhD research on pedagogical teacher competences in TEDS-Validate, a follow-up of the international Teacher Education and Development Study.  She graduated from the Mercator Fellowship on International Affairs  and holds a Master of Arts in Educational Science from the University of Freiburg.
