Nelleke van der Vleuten is an independent professional with a long standing experience in the NGO sector. She has more than 15 years of hands-on and pioneering experience in training, advising, project development and -management. Main expertise areas are cross sector partnerships between NGO and business; gender dimensions in development and business; responsible business.

Nelleke has worked among others for the Dutch NGO ICCO (in different capacities) and for the BoP Innovation Center. She started her career as a policy researcher on prostitution and migration at the University of Leiden. Nelleke has extensive work experience in African and Asian countries (esp. India and Bangladesh) and holds a Master degree in social sciences from Radboud University Nijmegen.
