Practitioners’ workshop in Buenos Aires: Bringing healthcare solutions to low-income markets

BoP Sector Dialogue at the Ecosystem Day of the 2nd Globalizer on Economic Inclusion in Latin America

On September 25, a practitioners’ workshop will convene leading social entrepreneurs whose inclusive business models bring health care solutions to low-income markets in Latin America. It aims to facilitate the sharing of best practices and lessons learned between entrepreneurs. This shall support participants to further develop their business model, as well as to scale and replicate it. The workshop also aims to explore and broker collaborations between entrepreneurs and potential partners.

Part 1: Developing and implementing inclusive business models– common challenges and best practices
Part 2: Scaling and replicating inclusive business models
Part 3: Forging partnerships

The workshop builds the practical experience of the participating Social Entrepreneurs and on the findings from the studies “Bringing Medicines to Low-Income Markets: a guide to creating inclusive business models for pharmaceutical companies” and “Multiplying Impact: Supporting the replication of inclusive business models”.

The workshop is organized by the Inclusive Business Action Network (IBAN) and GIZ, acting on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), in cooperation with Ashoka and Endeva.
