ProjectG20 Framework on Inclusive Business Policies

Project context

The Turkish presidency of the G20 in 2015 has identified Inclusive Business Policies as a priority topic for its Development Working Group. The G20 is a forum for the governments from 20 major economies. Increasingly, the forum brings together other stakeholders including from the private sector and developing countries.

The World Bank and UNDP have been tasked by the G20 to lead on the development of a Framework on Inclusive Business Policies that can guide further action of the forum. Endeva has been commissioned to support the development of the framework, based on previous work with the G20 Policy Note on Inclusive Business Policies and the study on Inclusive Business Policies.

Project Objective

The project aims to develop a framework on Inclusive Business Policies that can provide guidance to Policy Makers on the need for such policies and relevant options. The Framework will inform further work of the G20 on Inclusive Business Policies.

Project Outcome

The G20 Framework on Inclusive Business Policies is expected to be adopted by the G20 by the end of 2015. The Development Working Group will then also agree on next steps to implement recommendations from the framework.
