ProjectInclusive Business Forum Istanbul
The International Business Forum (IBF) was created in 1995 as a platform for fostering dialogue between government, private sector, and civil society to promote and disseminate sustainable business models in emerging and developing countries. The IBF is implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) on behalf of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
Endeva supported the conceptual, methodological and content design and coordination of the 16th International Business Forum on "Green and Inclusive Business" in Istanbul.
The IBF brought together about 280 participants from more than 75 countries to discuss specific challenges that inclusive businesses face: Market linkages, policy, access to finance and capacity development. Most of the participants of the forum were small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and organisations with green and inclusive business models as well as those wishing to learn more about this rapidly growing field. Moreover, investors, NGOs, development organisations, policy makers, academics, service providers and think tanks attended the conference.
