"I’m interested in finding solutions that bring together ideas from different disciplines. At Endeva, we work with exciting partners all over the world and create sustainable solutions for development. What better job can you have?"
Christian is an expert in international development, with experience in inclusive business, agricultural value chains, off-grid electrification and adaptation to climate change. As a project manager and consultant at Endeva, he has co-authored a study on inclusive business in tourism, worked on several projects on decentralized access to energy and conducted field research in Rwanda to include smallholder farmers in agricultural value chains. Most recently, he visited Malawi to analyze challenges for social enterprises in healthcare, energy and WASH.
Christian is always looking for ways to create synergy between different sectors. For him, creating mutual benefits is the best way to build ownership and secure sustainability. But above all, he enjoys leaving the office for the real world and working with others.
Before joining Endeva, Christian worked as a Junior Consultant for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Brazil, where he focused on community-based adaptation to climate change and disaster risk-reduction. He graduated from the Seminar für Ländliche Entwicklung (SLE), a postgraduate program on international development cooperation, and holds excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
