Fatma M’Selmi is an expert in the field of private sector development, particularly through innovation, technology transfer and entrepreneurship. She is convinced of the need to spread the concept of inclusive development which allows for better equity and integration of low-income people in the value chain of companies in a win-win relationship.
Fatma has over 12 years of experience working with European Union (EU) institutions in monitoring complex consulting projects, and has managed several network projects aiming to support the competitiveness of Tunisian regions through innovation and entrepreneurship promotion and networking with SMEs, public organizations, universities and research institutions. As a result; potential clusters have been identified, strategic plans established, innovation agendas built up and communication channels between all partners and decisions makers on the regional level have been opened. Fatma is also an expert in women economic development and gender issues, and developed, managed and implemented projects in partnership with Tunisian Ministries and the EU. Fatma M’Selmi holds a Master degree in Strategic Management from the Institut des Hautes Etudes de Commerce Tunisie.
