Project Assistant

Selma Konrad is a Project Assistant for Komm:Transform (since September 2026), where she contributes to community management, communications and research activities advancing collaborative approaches to innovative partnerships for the local energy transition. She brings practical experience in public affairs, communications and social entrepreneurship alongside her long-standing engagement in student representation and volunteer initiatives. Across these roles, she has developed a strong interest in cross-sector collaboration, social innovation and participatory approaches to complex societal challenges.

Driven by the belief that collaboration is key to systemic change, Selma is particularly interested in collective impact frameworks, inclusive development and transatlantic relations. She is motivated by building bridges between research and practice to contribute to more equitable and sustainable futures.

Selma holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Economics at the University of Erfurt, complemented by a semester abroad in Pennsylvania, USA. In her Bachelor thesis, she examines how the Collective Impact model can be applied to the Freudberg Campus Berlin to effectively address educational inequality.
