Jorge´s work areas are forms of private sector engagement like CSR or Inclusive Business at international level, new fundraising strategies, and the project cycle, issues and tools he researches and teaches. He has work developing capacities in people involved at governmental level, company level, in NGOs, academia and civil society to encourage development and fight poverty. As consultant and researcher, he has collaborate with several institutions such as IICA, AECID, GIZ, Endeva, FLACSO and UNDP. He has written books and articles on CSR, and International Cooperation and private sector. Currently his work is focused on IB and new forms of collaboration with private sector and is active as Research – Professor at Mora Institute and Anahuac University at México City.
Jorge holds a Ph.D in International Economics and Development from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, a Postgraduate Diploma in International Economics from Essex University, and a specialisation in Global Governance by the Deutsches Institute Für Entwicklungspolitik. Currently is member of the Nation Research System (SNI) in Mexico.
