"I’m interested in finding solutions that bring together ideas from different disciplines. At Endeva, we work with exciting partners all over the world and create sustainable solutions for development. What better job can you have?"

In over 7 years at Endeva, Christian has managed and led more than 30 projects on innovation systems, inclusive business and entrepreneurship promotion, including several publications, trainings and workshops. He is especially passionate about facilitating market transformation processes with partners from the private and public sector to make the economic transformation more inclusive.

Christian has broad experience in empirical research and has conducted inclusive business and social enterprise ecosystem mappings and diagnostics for the World Bank, UNDP and UN ESCAP in countries such as Indonesia, Lesotho, Malawi, Rwanda, South Africa and Uganda.

Between 2017 and 2018, Christian worked at UNDP's Regional Service Centre for Africa in Ethiopia. As part of the private sector team, he designed and implemented three ecosystem initiatives to strengthen inclusive businesses in Lesotho, Senegal and Uganda. He also developed trainings on innovative ecosystem mappings and effective cross-sector partnership facilitation.

As part of the Endeva team, Christian is responsible for recruiting and managing our freelancer network. He is always looking for experts that bring new perspectives to the company, be it by having a specific sector expertise or a tech-solution. Christian loves being based in Berlin, but above all, he enjoys leaving the office for the real world and to  work with other people.

Before joining Endeva, Christian worked as a Junior Consultant for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Brazil, where he focused on community-based adaptation to climate change and disaster risk-reduction. He has a background in political science and graduated from the Centre for Rural Development (SLE), a postgraduate program on international development.
