Alongside the launch of Komm:Transform, we have begun a journey of system change in the educational landscape to bring children closer to nature and the value of food with Acker e.V. The organization is working toward a clear goal: make it possible for every child to experience the growth and value creation process of food with their own hands by 2030.
At the Acker Festival, Endeva’s Aline Menden had the opportunity to shape just that in an interactive workshop with attendees and community members in the workshop, “On the way to #2030JedesKind – Shaping Acker’s System Change Journey.”
Together with representatives from education, politics and civil society, participants developed perspectives for an education that is more than just schoolwork: experience-based, sustainable, and fit for the future. In doing so, they symbolically opened the field’s toolbox to provide insight into Acker’s current strategies and the big questions that drive them.
Above all, the collective intelligence of the festival through the participants and the workshop’s co-creation approach were the most valuable tools in the toolbox – because true systemic change can only be achieved together.
